Not your traditional Quad...WAY BETTER

I have avoided riding quads for the most part because historically they have been a little skatey for my liking. This board turns that on its head. Quads are renowned for being quick and this board is definitely that. That said, sometimes quads can be a little loose and slidey....This is definitely NOT that. This board holds incredibly well at all speeds. I never once felt like I had to power down through turns to avoid it sliding out or getting loose. This board held every bit as well as my traditional thruster but got up to speed quicker and ultimately went faster. The carbon layup is super sexy but it also changes the ride characteristics FOR THE BETTER. Carbon feels like the best of both worlds. More quiet than EPS but also had a little more pop than traditional PU. If you add the durability to the equation, it makes a lot of sense to consider upgrading to a carbon version of your favorite SharpEye. Fins are king on this board, I used the FCS H4 Medium fronts and a smaller FCS AM set in the back(I don't own a standard set of quads so I had to get creative). Both fins are super tracky so that may have a lot to do with why the board felt so stable and stayed on line so well. You can change the ride characteristics of this board if you like quads a little looser, simply by going to more of a pivot fin set. Ultimately I was just demo'ing this board but I am probably going to have to sell off a couple of boards in my quiver to buy this board. Arguably one of the most fun boards I have ever ridden.
